Some more finishes

I have now completed all 9 stitcheries from It's a Red Work Christmas by Rosalie Quinlan.  I have really enjoyed making these, next is to work out how to finishe it off.
This was a Ufo that just need to be framed.  It is a Leanne Beasley design that we got at the the sewing day I went to.

Busy couple of weeks

It has been school holidays here, so I have been doing some sewing here and there.

I made this rag quilt a few weeks ago and it has sat around waiting to be clipped so we had a movie day at home and I thought today's the day, now I just need to get it in the wash and see how it turns out.

I have been asked to make a quilt for a little girl so I found this material, and I thought it was so cute, I hope they like it.

What I finished over the weekend

My mum and sister bought me a portable lamp to take on sewing days.  So I made it a bag to protect it.  Mine is the Pink one and my sister's is the cream one. (she got a new lamp too)
Angus has a birthday to go to at the end of the month so the request was for a spiderman bag, so I got busy making another one.  I can see lots of his friends getting them this year.
I have also completed Block 4 of Rosalie Quinlan Redwork Christmas, I am enjoying sitting at night doing these.
I'm off now to prepare Rosalie Quinlan Little Cottage using felt, It will be the first time I have made something in felt.

Jacobb's ladder

I have taken a little while to finish this one off.  It got put to the bottom of the pile.  Now it's ready to head off the quilters next month it feels good to have it finished.  It's to go on our queen size bed.

I have been working through my Ufo's, I have one more quilt on the go and lots of hadstitching projects and some that needs to be framed.

April is going to be another ufo finishing month.

Playgroup Quilt

I have renamed this quilt to my Playgroup Quilt.  Last year I was given this material for help running playgroup.  I waited for the right pattern (which I won).  Now everytime we snuggle under it I will think of the fun times and the great friendships made.
