Stitched In Time July 2016

Yesterday I got to attend another fantastic day run by Gail Pan and Ramona Hermann, these days are filled with lots of chatting, laughter, food and some sewing.

First up is what was in our good bags that greeted us on arrival.

As usual it's hard to pick which one to start.

I started on Gails armchair caddy and finished stitching last night.
Great to spend a day with these girls

Thank you Gail and Ramona for another wonderful day.

2013 Designer mystery Bom

Another UFO.  I started this one in 2013 it was a bom run by fat quarter shop.  My plan is now its out of the cupboard it will be finished.  Knocking one of at a time.

The plan is one block a day sounds easy right lets see how I go.

I am going on my first sewing retreat soon and I have organised a few hand sewing projects, so I need to get a few other things finished so they dont hit the ufo pile.

Busy busy busy

What have I been up to over the last few days.

I am on a mission for the rest of the year to get some of the Ufo's finished, I am feeling very overwhelmed with the amount of things I have on the go.

First one is a table mat that I started before Angus was born ( he's nearly 8).  It is a Leanne House Design called Summer Garden Quilt.  It fit's great on my table on the deck, so I'm looking forward to sitting out there in the summer hand sewing and enjoying some sunshine and fresh air.

I have been promising Angus that he could make a quilt, so we got out some batiks and whipped this one up together.,  Angus did the rows and I joined them together, we are going to do a pieced backing to make it reversible.
Tonight's project will be hand sewing.
